MATHEMATICS CLASSES

Pre-Algebra (7+)
Pre-Algebra explores pre-algebra concepts such as negative numbers, unknowns equations, ratios, percentages, inequalities, statistics, graphing, exponents, and basics of trigonometry through a Biblical worldview, establishing how the consistencies we see in mathematical concepts proclaim the consistencies of a faithful God.
• Offered every year
• Algebra 1 (8+)
Algebra 1 seeks to develop a lasting understanding of Algebra concepts within the student. The goal is to prepare the student to take his understanding of Algebraic concepts outside the math textbook and successfully apply them to higher math courses, sciences, and everyday life.
• Offered every year
• Geometry (9+)
Geometry seeks to prepare students with an understanding of Geometry concepts, principles, and application. Through clear, engaging, conversational approaches, this course guides students through practical, real-world Geometry, allowing them to develop a true understanding of deductive reasoning, lines & angles, congruence, inequalities, quadrilaterals, area, triangles, circles, theorems, polygons, geometric solids, and more!
• Offered every year
• Algebra 2 / Trigonometry (10+)
This course covers functions and relations, systems of linear equations and inequalities, quadratic functions and relations, higher degree polynomials, complex numbers, exponential and logarithmic functions, rational algebraic functions, irrational algebraic functions, sequence and series, probability, data analysis, and an introduction to Trigonometry.
• Offered every year
• Pre-Calculus (11+)
This course covers emphasizes the twelve basic functions as a major theme and focus. These functions are: The Identity Function, The Squaring Function, The Cubing Function, The Reciprocal Function, The Square Root Function, The Exponential Function, The Natural Logarithm Function, The Sine Function, The Cosine Function, The Absolute Value Function, The Greatest Integer Function, The Logistic Function.
• Offered every year
• Calculus (12)
In this course students start off with calculus! Review of precalculus occurs at various points when it’s needed. The class combines graphing-calculator technology with a unique, real-world application approach, and presents calculus as a study of just four fundamental concepts: limits, derivatives, definite integrals, and indefinite integrals. Students learn these concepts using algebraic, numerical, graphical, and verbal approaches. As a result, students with a wider range of abilities can be successful in calculus, not just those who are strong in algebra.
• Offered every year

Mathematics classes are designed to lead the student through the traditional math subjects. Mathematics classes will have lessons posted each day, Monday-Friday.
