ELEMENTARY CLASSES


• Grade 4
Students entering grade 4 will spend the year in the wonderful study of astronomy.  For history, students will focus on America's colonial history, looking for God's guiding hand. Grade 4 will begin a 3-year journey studying through the entire Bible.  Math will advance the students into new fraction concepts, advanced multiplication and division, working with decimals, and geometry.  Grade 4 language class will continue to develop grammar and spelling skills while leading the student into effective paragraph writing.


• Grade 5
Grade 5 students will enter the 2nd of their 3-year journey studying through the Bible. Science class will find them studying the animals through zoology.  In language, students learn the nuances of communication, organization, and techniques to be more effective in sharing their thoughts through the written word.  Students will learn factoring, improper fractions, common and uncommon denominators, multiplying decimals in grade 5 math.  History will focus on America's constitutional period, with special attention paid to God's Providence in bringing forth a nation of liberty.
• Grade 6
Bible class concludes its 3-year journey through the Bible in grade 6. Science will conclude its zoology portion and then students will study anatomy. Language class will lead students into a classical study of English grammar. 6th grade math students will enjoy learning averaging, rounding, and percentages. Students will enjoy learning history from creation to present in grade 6 world history.

Elementary classes are offered for grades 4 & 5. These classes will have posted lessons Monday through Friday.  Elementary students will study: Math, Language, Science, History, and Bible.  Additional elementary classes are available and will meet at other times.
